About Eliza
Eliza Jaquays is a YA fantasy writer who writes primarily in queernormative secondary worlds. Her love of fantasy began at a young age as she quite literally grew up surrounded by dragons. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Creative Writing and for the first time in her life, established roots. By day, she's a system administrator for her HR department, which involves saying "that's a feature, not a bug" far more often than she'd like.
Eliza has two live-in (feline) editorial assistants, Hobbit and Kyprioth, whose primary input is walking across the keyboard, accidentally deleting entire paragraphs of text, and screaming for attention during video calls. When she's not writing, you can typically find her hanging out with her cats, playing video games, and reading books that she got from the library instead of the ones she just bought.
